Berlin Partner – the investment agency arm of Germany’s capital – today launches a web-based solution for distributing the 3D city model of Berlin. The new 3D platform is unveiled by Berlin Partner at this year’s MIPIM in Cannes, one of the most influential exhibitions for the international real estate industry in the world.
Berlin’s 3D city model – perhaps the largest 3D city model ever shown in Google Earth – is famous alone for its sheer size: over 560,000 buildings with façade images. Upon discovering the capability of Agency9 3DMaps platform, Berlin Partner decided to launch this impressive amount of 3D data on the web. The web maps are primarily used as a decision-making and presentation tool for potential investors.
