How to visualize a million 3D trees

Check out the latest release of 3DMaps and the Forest Visualization Add-On live on Linköping 3D, the web 3D GIS solution for the municipality of Linköping. The input data is about one million points representing location and individual properties for each tree. The Forest Visualization Add-On renders the 3D trees based on the meta data in real-time. Tree data is provided by FORAN Remote Sensing to municipality of Linköping.
Also try the new ground view mode. Right click anywhere in the map, and select the ground view icon from the menu that appears. In ground view mode, you can double click anywhere to move to a ground view from that point or simply use the right click menu again.
