The flexibility of a 3D-billboard object can be used to diversify the 3D-advertisement offerings. For instance, a 3D-billboard can be set to:

- Always visible
- Render with minimum allowed size
- Clickable or not
- Extended information when clicked, for instance show text and images when clicked
- Visible or not in 360-view mode as well
