With rudimentary in-data, 3DMaps Forest Visualization creates a 3D-visualization of a Forest in no time. A typical solution would include Lidar-gathered forest data, saved in a spatial database or as points in a shape file with linked meta data for each tree. From the data representation, a 3D-visualization is created and shared on the web in the 3DMaps environment. A true 3D-visualization gives a clearer understanding of the actual data. In addition, each tree is clickable and can for instance be linked to databases.
